Twas the Night Before Last...

Twas the night before last and
I was in the Kitchen cooking dinner
when all of a sudden I heard such a clatter
I sprung from the Kitchen to see what was a matter
away to the Living Room I flew like a flash
and what to my wondering eyes should appear
just a miniature baby named Carson dear.
His eyes how they twinkled, His dimples so merry
His cheeks were like roses, his nose like a cherry!
His little mouth was drawn down in a frown
He wanted his momma to get him out.
He was chubby and plump, a right jolly little baby
And I laughed when I saw him in spite of myself.
A wink of his eye and a nod of his head
I soon knew I had so much to dread.
Oh we need baby gates, Oh and outlet covers,
Oh corner protectors, oh and cabniet latches
To the top of the porch, to the top of the wall
Now dash away Mike, dash away to Freds
Go buy me some safety stuff,
So he won't fall and hit his Head!

Hey I gave it a shot, I never said I was any good at poetry.
