My Girls

Here are some of my girls. In the back we have Kimi, Summer, Jere, & Me. In the Front is Deb, Sharron, Angel and Kerri. What a great bunch. Rhonda wasn't able to be here this night. This was at mine and Mike's Wedding Reception in Alaska. Don't we look good! It is amazing how happy tequila can make you. Just look at all the smiles on our faces.

Our Mexico Marriage

A few pictures of my wedding in Mexico in Akumal. I absolutely loved it. The beach, the ocean, the sky, the sun. I could go on and on. Not to mention that I got to marry my sweetie. I have always dreamed of getting married on a beach. So I guess I should shout out props to Mom and Dad for helping it become a reality and for my husband, well for being my husband.

Hockey under the Alaskan Stars

During Fur Rondy in February, the Muldooners played in an hockey tournament downtown on the parkstrip. It was outside and the sun was shining. We had a great time. I was able to get some close up pictures without the glass between us. Actually a little to close and hockey puck came way to close to me, when I was taking pictures.

Sydney and I walked further downtown with Super K to see the first ever running with the reindeer. It was pretty crowded, there was cool costumes and tons of people. Poor reindeer - they probably didn't know what to think about all the people. But they ran. You can see video of it on You tube, if you are interested. Hopefully, I will figure out how to post videos here on this blog and then I will really be moving along. Here is a picture of my hubby on the ice. Go Muldooners.

Is it really Snowman weather?

This morning shortly after getting to work, it started snowing real big snowflakes. Tommorow will be the first day of May, and we are getting snow. This past weekend was crazy as well. On thursday, I thought that all the snow was done for the year and that Sydney would not be able to see when she returned from Oklahoma. Boy was I wrong, on Friday, they let us go home from work early because the road were getting real bad. By the next morning, we had set a record. This was the most snowfall recorded for so late in the year- 15.5 inches in a 24 hr period. But on our side of town we had 22 inches total. The 24 hr period started at midnight and went to midnight, so that didn't account for alot of the snow that already started or fell after that. Anyway, Saturday after Mike and I shoveled the drive we decided to make a Snowman family for Sydney to return to. This family decided they didn't want kids, as Mike and I got tired and ran out of time when it came time to make the kid snowman. Off to Mike's hockey game we went and then when we returned some 4 or 5 hrs later, they were melting. Yep melting. Around 7 the woman snowman fell, then around 9:30 that night I was outside with the sun shining working on fixing the man snowman, so my poor daughter might have a chance to see it when she returned on Monday. I was giggling, because it was 9:30 at night, I was in flip flops, tank top and capri's in the snow trying to fix a snowman. Pretty ironic huh!

After all that. The Snowman fell down in the middle of the night and my daughter didn't get to see the Snowman family. But she was suprised by all the snow when she returned. Life in Alaska. Who would have thunk!

Here we Go!

In my effort to become hip and trendy, I decided to join the millions of people who blog. If you don’t know what a blog is, then you need to also work on becoming hip and trendy as well. I was looking at some scrapbook blogs and thought that I would see what it was all about. So here is my first blog entry. I have never been a very good diary keeper or writer, so this could prove to be challenging. I usually don’t spend much time after work on the computer either, so hopefully I will have time to write about my everyday life and post some pictures of ongoing things in my life. Gotta Try New Stuff-Right?
